Before you book
- The window you can really make: check-in usually runs well before the tee time itself
- Group size: a slot holds up to a foursome, and solo players may be paired
- Walking or riding: cart fees are often separate and sometimes cart-path only
- The cancellation rule: 24 to 48 hours is typical, and busier courses hold a card
- Residency pricing where it exists: at some municipal courses the same round differs by hundreds of dollars
Then book it once, properly
Book on the course's own system under your own name, note the cancellation cutoff, and if the sheet is full, a watch on the same window is the honest fallback rather than a second-guess routine of refreshing.
Try the workflow on one real watch
The clearest test is still one real course, one real time window, and the player count you need. That setup shows whether the workflow stays readable once it leaves the page.
